Free Workers' Rights Seminar

Asian Pacific Women’s Center (APWC) will host a free Workers’ Rights Seminar for all women--especially those who have experienced domestic violence--who are interested in learning about basic legal rights related to workers and employers. The seminar shall cover topics on workplace discrimination, minimum wage, leave benefits, workers compensation, among others.

The seminar forms part of APWC’s Workforce Development Program that aims to equip community clients with new work related skillsets, education, training and resources needed to enter the workforce and achieve economic independence. Free snacks and refreshment will be served.
