APWC joined Reps. Judy Chu (CA-27), Grace F. Napolitano (CA-32), Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park and other local partnering organizations at a press conference at the Monrovia Community Center to kick off the 12th Annual Domestic Violence Collection Drive. The campaign is a drive to benefit survivors of domestic violence.
From October 1 - November 1, items such as gently used clothing, school supplies, household cleaning supplies and toiletries, will be collected at community centers throughout the San Gabriel Valley. The items will then be distributed evenly among the shelters the campaign has partnered with.
APWC is honored to be a part of this campaign once again. We are grateful for the hard work that all partners of this campaign put in to help make daily living easier for domestic violence survivors.
Donations can be dropped off at Rep. Chu’s district offices in Pasadena and Claremont, Alhambra City Hall, Altadena Community Center, Altadena Senior Center, Arcadia Community Center, Arcadia Woman’s Club, Joslyn Adult Recreation Center, Garvey Community Center, Monterey Park City Hall, Rosemead Community Recreation Center, San Marino City Hall, South Pasadena City Hall, South Pasadena Woman’s Club and Kaiser Permanente facilities in Baldwin Park, Diamond Bar, Montebello, San Dimas, and West Covina.
